Brian Wilson Lyrics

Two Great Covers on the Classic Song
"Don't Worry Baby"

Two great covers of the Don't Worry Baby classic at Vinyl Record Memories.com

This Brian Wilson lyrics page includes two of the best covers on his classic song "Don't Worry Baby."

The song is listed in the "Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Top "500" songs that shaped rock and roll."

The song was written by Brian Wilson and Roger Christian, produced by Brian Wilson and released by the Beach Boys on May 11th, 1964.

Brian wrote the song after hearing his all-time favorite record "Be My Baby." That song was released by the Ronettes in August, 1963.

My #2 Favorite Beach Boys Song.

Don't Worry Baby is a song about a teenager who agrees to a challenge race with a rival in order to defend his honor after bragging about his car, and his girlfriend's plea to take her love with him when he races.

I enjoy anything by Brian Wilson and The Beach Boys but I have not heard any songs by Brian Wilson that I like better than this one....except "Good Vibrations."

Don't Worry Baby has always been one of my favorites because it just has that "feel good, sing along" melody to it.

Brian Wilson Lyrics - Billy Joel's cover of this great song.

Billy performed The Beach Boys' "Don't Worry Baby" at a Brian Wilson tribute concert in 2010.  Some may not know that early in his career, Billy opened for The Beach Boys at several concerts.  He did a wonderful rendition of the song as you can tell by the audience's reaction.

I have provided the lyrics so you can also sing along with the music. Please enjoy this great song...

Well its been building up inside of me
For oh I don't know how long
I don't know why but I keep thinking
Something's bound to go wrong

But she looks in my eyes
And makes me realize
When she says "Don't worry baby"
Don't worry baby
Everything will turn out alright
Don't worry baby

I guess I should've kept my mouth shut
When I start to brag about my car
But I can't back down now because
I pushed the other guys too far

She makes me come alive
and makes me want to drive
When she says "Don't worry baby"
Don't worry baby
Everything will turn out alright
Don't worry baby

Instrumental

She told me "Baby, when you race today
Just take along my love with you
And if you knew how much I loved you
Baby nothing could go wrong with you"

Oh what she does to me
When she makes love to me
And she says "Don't worry baby"
Don't worry baby
Everything will turn out alright

Don't worry baby
Everything will turn out alright
Don't worry baby
